Fronting Ireland’s leading covers band is a daunting task for any singer, but it is this guy who has proven himself to be a man whose professional musicianship and rocky edge helped catapult The Harleys into a league of its own.

Gary has been singing professionally since 1997 when he joined the West End Production and subsequent world tour of Riverdance – The Show. A four-year rolling contract followed with highlights including his performance as lead vocalist in Japan, Europe and Dublin’s 3Arena.

Following his return to Ireland, Gary worked as a session singer, basing himself in Dublin. It wasn’t long before Aldo Nova, Canadian songwriter for Bon Jovi and Celine Dion, called Gary to record demo tracks for some songs he had written. The first track Gary recorded for Aldo turned into Celine Dion’s massive worldwide hit, ‘You and I’. Click here to listen to the finished article.

Gary has performed in a catalogue of Iconic Worldwide Venues throughout the years such as The Sydney Entertainment Centre, Hong Kong Coliseum, Monaco Red Cross Ball, Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aries, The International Forum in Tokyo, The Apollo in London and The 3Arena in Dublin. He also performed a song with Whitesnake in Frankfurt at the Marshall Amplification Annual Ball.

Gary is endorsed by Ernie Ball Strings, D’Addario UK, Mooer Audio and plays a Gibson Les Paul Custom through a Marshall JVM 410 Amplifier.

Born in South Africa. Kempton High school in South Africa is where Danie’s musical career was born. After joining the school's marching band where he started on trumpet and then valve trombone, he qualified to join The South African National Marching Band representing South Africa in an international festival in Hong Kong, Taipei and Taiwan. But it was the guitar that eventually stole Danie’s heart. His Dad bought him an Ibanez 1970 Black Les Paul copy when he was only 16 and the rest, as they say, is history!

Danie’s first band, Kempton Park Junior Boereorkes, played traditional South African music. They won the South African finals three years in a row and came fourth in the National T.V. competition competing against all adult bands. After finishing school Danie got accepted into Technikon Pretoria, now Tshwane University of Technology, where he studied Music. Post Technikon he did a lot of session and theatre work, played with a band called Franklin before joining one of South Africa’s biggest selling rock bands Just Jinjer.

Over the last decade, the band has performed and toured with U2, Counting Crows, Def Leppard, INXS, Maroon 5, One Replublic, Hootie and the Blowfish, and The Strokes among many others, performing for hundreds of thousands of fans in venues all around the world from the UK to Dubai. To date they have released six critically acclaimed albums. Just Jinjer is a contemporary rock group originally from South Africa. It is one of the top selling rock bands in South African history, with over 250,000 units sold. Below is a link to a music video Danie did of a song called ' Here's to you’; both the song and Album title from Just Jinjer's third album.Click here to see more

Just Jinger took a break for a year and an opportunity arose for Danie to come to Ireland. He rejoined Franklin and moved to Ireland playing sold out shows in Dublin. They supported Incubus in The Point, now The O2. After Fra

Tony brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the Harleys. Having taken up bass guitar at 17 to play in his Dad's band around his native Co. Carlow, he then started touring nationally performing at corporate events for the following years.

Tony toured Ireland & UK with some of Ireland's best-known cover bands before making the leap into The Harleys, a job he was born to do! Having graced top venues including Olympia Theatre, The Academy & Vicar Street with his sub sonic tones, Tony is delighted to endorse Hartke Amps and Jagermeister – he plays Schecter basses through Hartke Amps/Cabinets

A seasoned musician, Paul has been involved with music from a young age. Although not yet 30, he has amassed almost 15 years of live session experience. From his initial teen ‘battle of the bands’ dreams, he focused on his desire to learn the finer art of music and strive for more experience in the music world.

This led to Paul working with a number of indie bands in the Irish Music Scene over the past decade, most notably “The Kinetiks”.

As well as this, Paul is also no stranger to the studio scene, he has recorded with artists in Ireland, the UK and New York and having worked with producers and engineers such as Mark Carolyn (Muse), Stephen Lipson (Pet Shop Boys), Philip Magee (Kodaline).

Already having achieved some successes (Paul had a song featured on MTV’s “The Real World” and was nominated for a meteor award in 2008), Paul’s real passion is playing live. He has already played major festivals including Oxygen, Popkomm Berlin, Indiependance and supported artists such as “Scouting for Girls” and “Echo and the Bunnymen” in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.
